Little Escape

就是喜歡打襪子，

懶洋洋的坐在沙發上，瞄著電視節目，按著段數計，

然後，就可以打出襪子，

不用很認真，還可以看電視。

這是我休息的方式！

Pattern: "Knitting Vintage Socks ", by Nancy Bush

Yarn: Knit Picks, "Essential" 75% Superwash Wool, 25% Nylon

231 yards/ 50g x 2 skeins

Color: African Violet

Needles: set of 5 Colonial Rosewood double-pointed needles, US.#1 (the needles are really nice)

打襪子之前，還玩起了felting。

完全沒織圖，用手上剩餘的毛線（一定要會縮水的純羊毛）亂打一通，織成一個大大的小籃子，丟進洗衣機跟毛巾一起洗，

縮水後，就成了我的毛線小提籃。

放了必要的工具配件後，中央的小隔間可以放一坨毛線，乖乖的待在裡頭。

延續之前Acorn Sampler 對橡樹仔的熱情，

試著織看看，還真的織出了橡樹子。

配上橡樹葉、把木珠繞上毛線，黏在acorn tops 上，出現了迷你橡樹仔（下）。

塞了棉花當針插；不塞棉花的橡樹可以放yarn cutter。

線材：Patons Merino Classic Wool, 100% wool

Needles: set of 5 Clover double-pointed needles, size 7, 3 & US7 circular needles

橡樹子作法：我用英文寫的

程度：非常簡單

you need : 雙頭五本針 US#3 (3.25mm) Set of 5 doulbe-pointed needles

Yarn: worsted weight wool

Gauge: it doesn't matter, but mine is 16sts for 4"

-Acorn -

Co： 16 sts, 4 sts on each needles, work in round

1st-10th row: knit  

Next row: *(knit 2, k2tog), repeat 3 times more (12sts)

Next row: *(knit 1, k2tog), repeat 3 times more (8sts)

Next row: *k2tog, repeat 3 times more (4 sts)

Next : cut yarn, leave 12" tail,  thread remaining 4 sts together, finish off

Acorn Top:

Co: 20 sts, 5 sts on each needles

1st and 3rd row: *(k1, p1) repeat to end

2nd and 4th row: (*(p1, k1) repeat to end

now you have made moss stitch

5th row: *(keep moss stitch for 3 sts, k2tog), repeat 3 times more (16 sts)

6th row: *(keep moss stitch for 2 sts, k2tog), repeat 3 times more (12 sts)

7th row: *(keep moss stitch for 1 sts, k2tog), repeat 3 times more (8 sts)

8th row: *k2tog, repeat 3 times more (4 sts)

Next : move the remaining 4 sts onto 1 needle, make i-cord for 1" long

Next: cut yarn, finish off 

Finish:

Sew  acorn and acorn top together, leave an 1 " hole for stuffing the fiber fill , finish off.  You're done.
